I am preparing to do a social media in business course and I have finally created a LinkedIn profile. It is the same with all these social networking sites, it takes a bit of time getting your head around the technology. Although I was pleased to make contact with someone from my scriptwriting days while working on the radio soap, Conway Street for Express FM. I am also thinking of all the great people I have know during my career and I have lost contact with. Facebook is great, but a lot of it is social, and 'I need a nap right now.' So it's great to have somewhere a little more professional to store contacts, and grow contacts.
